SABPA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in early 2002. SABPA has more than 4000 members who are scholars, professionals and entrepreneurs in life science industry, universities and research institutes in Southern California. SABPA is a grassroots organization managed and operated by volunteers throughout the entire organizational construct. In this volunteer-based organization, team cohesion and collaboration play vital roles that have enabled SABPA to grow, excel and succeed with its unique identity. With this identity SABPA has created a strong foundation and established a common ground to fulfill its missions and is continuously building up the collective power and synergy among its members and collaborators. Today, SABPA is one of the most influential professional organizations in Southern California. SABPA organizes three annual conferences: 1) Frontiers in Therapeutics and Diagnostics (FTD); 2) Biomedical Forum (OC/LA); 3) San Diego BioPharma Conference.
