Sabras Foundation believes in giving back to society and helping those in need to create a world where no one is deprived of life’s necessities. Our journey began in 2012 with a simple yet impactful initiative called “Food for Hungry,” where we served meals to those less fortunate.
Over time, our team’s support and valuable suggestions inspired us to expand our horizons and rename this initiative to “Helping Hands.” Our dedicated team’s encouragement led us to extend our reach and spread the wings of humanity and goodness throughout society.

We all know that education has the power to change your entire life. Learning changes your thinking capabilities and perception. With education, people can become better citizens allowing for a better society and developed society. Girl child education is very near to our hearts and we are closely working for girl child education at Kharaghoda a small village in Surrendranagar where despite no sea millions of tons of salt is produced.
When we remember “Salt” we remember Dandi, Gandhi, and our Independence movement as Indians. Gandhiji gave the flag of the Independence movement with the slogan “Desh Chhodo” (Leave our Country) by taking up a pinch of salt in his hand. Kharaghoda is one place in Gujarat where despite no sea there are millions of tons of salt is produced. It is spread over 5000 square kilometers where the ‘Agariyas’ (salt workers) dig wells to dwell in saltwater to produce salt in the most difficult environment.
In the year 2019, when, we visited Kharaghoda and came inclose contact with the life and struggle of salt workers called “Agariyas”. Looking at the miseries, Sabras Foundation made up its mind to work for the area and its people.
