Our Mission At Sac Cal Alumni, our mission revolves around three core pillars: Scholarship: We support educational excellence by conducting Alumni Scholar Interviews and hosting New Student/Parent Receptions, ensuring the next generation of Cal students thrives. Service: Through initiatives like Cal-in-Sacramento and Cal-in-the-Community, we engage in meaningful projects that benefit both our alumni and the broader Sacramento community. Friendship: We cultivate lasting relationships among alumni by organizing diverse events such as the California Grid Club (Golden Bear Football) gatherings and various social activities. What We Offer Throughout the year, we present a variety of programs and events designed to enrich the alumni experience: Alumni Scholar Interviews: Participate in selecting and mentoring future Cal students. New Student/Parent Receptions: Welcome incoming students and their families to the Cal community. Cal-in-Sacramento: Engage in public service initiatives within the state capital. Cal-in-the-Community: Volunteer for local projects that make a positive impact. California Grid Club: Join fellow alumni to support and celebrate Golden Bear Football. Stay Connected Members receive our periodic e-newsletter, keeping you informed about upcoming events, opportunities, and news relevant to our alumni network.
