Secção de Astronomia, Astrofísica, e Astronáutica da AAC

The Section of Astronomy, Astrophysics, and Astronautics of the Academic Association of Coimbra (SAC) is a student group founded in 1989 with a passion for space and the cosmos. SAC engages the community through astronomical observations, scientific lectures, a podcast (PodSAC), and social media promotion. Our projects include open-to-the-public astronomical observations, lectures by space scientists, and technical initiatives like STRATOSPOLCA and Rocket Fenix. SAC, with a multidisciplinary team, provides education in astronomy, astrophysics, and telescope use. Notable achievements include international projects and reaching diverse age groups.
