As an association, we want to maintain and expand this quality and spread it to the world. We facilitate cross-border encounters and use the special flair of a sea voyage to take new perspectives and impulses home with us. Once a year, a top-class team from business, science, politics, economics, culture, sport and the media embarks on our annual sailing trip - the SACHSEN Sail - to make the Saxon region better known beyond the state borders and to establish new economic contacts. Our association has been promoting the advantages of our Free State since 2000. Launched as a small dinghy, the idea of committed Leipzig entrepreneurs has now become an impressive and imposing four-masted gaff schooner for regional marketing. The SACHSEN Sail is a communicative business platform and at the same time initiates new networks - on board and internationally.
