Sachsenmilch Leppersdorf GmbH, based in Leppersdorf in eastern Saxony, is one of the most modern milk processing companies in Europe. Founded in 1990 as Sachsenmilch AG and taken over by the Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller in 1994, it now employs around 3,000 people.
Since then, the company has been producing the Sachsenmilch brand, which has since developed into Saxony's strongest regional brand.
Unmistakable thanks to its pink packaging design, it is also a firm favourite on shelves and in fridges beyond the Free State of Saxony.
Whether UHT milk, butter, yoghurt or cheese, the raw material milk is almost completely processed in over 50 products under the Sachsenmilch brand.
