SACO, established in 1985, is a leading manufacturer of aluminium caps and shrouds for the cosmetic industry.
With a comprehensive range of over 1500 standard caps and shrouds, we offer one of the world's largest selections. Our dedicated design team constantly introduces new designs to meet market trends.
At SACO, we pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality products. Our integrated approach, encompassing component design, in-house tooling, pressing, assembly, and anodising services, ensures a seamless process from design to delivery. Our commitment to excellence has been recognised with prestigious awards such as the International Business of the Year and Manufacturing Excellence in 2019.
As a family-owned business located in Burnley, Lancashire, SACO has grown significantly since its inception. With over 450 employees across three factories, we are able to foster teamwork and optimise logistics.
Factory 1 features state-of-the-art fully automatic rack anodising plants, offering flexibility across our product range. Factory 2 houses 60 deep draw transfer presses, enabling us to cater to both standard and custom designs. Additionally, we have 10 assembly machines to incorporate plastic components into our anodized aluminium products.
Our latest acquisition, Factory 3, has allowed us to expand even further. With its spacious manufacturing units, extensive warehouse facilities, and modern offices, SACO continues to grow in every aspect.
In addition to our achievements, we are committed to nurturing future talent. Each year, we offer up to six fully accredited, four-year apprenticeships. Our in-house training program equips apprentices with a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes and empowers them to develop a wide range of technical skills.
