The Meharry School of Applied Computational Sciences seeks to positively impact society through innovative academic and research programs in data science. Founded in the spring of 2021, we apply data science to find solutions that serve the health care, business and technology communities. We also strive to increase the representation of Black data scientists. Our work helps position Meharry Medical College to become a leader in data-driven, health equity-focused research in cancer, educational effectiveness, infectious disease, mental health cardiovascular disease, oral health and precision medicine.
