SAFCEC (South African Forum of Civil Engineering Contractors) is the leading voluntary employer's organisation for the civil engineering industry. We support established and emerging contractors, whether they are small, medium or large contracting companies operating in the civil engineering sector.
SAFCEC enables members to deliver a professional construction service by assisting them in taking care of their employees' safety and welfare, the environment and the community, so that they can provide a foundation for our country's development.

SAFCEC also advises its members and consults on labour-economic market matters to provide sound information to policy makers. It plays an integral role in formulating industry policy ensuring that legal and regulatory frameworks do not hinder competitive and fair business practices.
SAFCEC facilitates stakeholder interactions and represents members at government-related functions. It also holds regular liaison meetings with key government and industry stakeholders.
