Safe Space Psychotherapy Center

Safe Space is a space dedicated to mental health. Under the supervision and care of psychologist-child psychologist and psychotherapist Ms. Frida Angeliou, she and her team undertake live and online sessions of individual psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults as well as parent counseling and couples therapy. In therapy we talk a lot about the importance of safe spaces. We even include this as part of our informed consent! When we begin to work with a new clients there are some responsibilities for both therapists and clients. One of those responsibilities is that we ensure our office is a space where clients feel safe and comfortable so they can be open and honest with us. And in return, we can be open and honest with them. A safe space is a place where you don’t have to worry about being judged – where you can be completely yourself and still feel cared for. A non-judgemental space where you can go to work through the things that are vulnerable to you.
