Founded in 2019, SAFE Training Institute exists as a reaction to the rise of active shootings and other horrific acts that most everyday people are not equipped to handle. His background in Emergency Services, as an EMT and a Firefighter, plus his history of private security work, helped him refine his own sense of awareness, but he wasn't sure how to teach others. Then he linked up with Mr. Yousef Badou and using a system developed from the USMC Combat Hunter program, took the rough edges of and gave his the tools to teach SAFE. Mike is a certified Situational Awareness Instructor and strives to help you learn how to protect yourself by teaching you what pre-event indicators are and how to recognize them as you go through your daily life. Mike is also a "Stop the Bleed" Instructor and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care Instructor, accredited by the National Council of Surgeons and C-TECC.
