Safeguard Protective Apparel was created by The Summit Center in Western New York to provide the highest level of protection for staff members working with students with aggressive behaviors. Our products were borne from a demand for better protection than conventional gear provided our own employees. Martial arts equipment, hockey pads, and baseball gear did not provide adequate protection for our staff who were vulnerable to injuries, at times hindering their ability to do their jobs. A better product was needed to provide better protection.
