Safeguarding the Future

As our society becomes increasingly reliant on artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, it is crucial to examine their impact on the most vulnerable members of our communities—our children. The rapid advancement of AI brings with it a myriad of potential risks and harms, ranging from online exploitation to algorithmic bias and privacy violations. AI also presents tremendous opportunities for children and youth, including enhanced accessibility, creativity and learning. In response to these challenges, our work centers on the critical discussion of safeguarding our younger generations in the digital age.
