About SafeHorizon Project EU
In the evolving world of cyber threats, Crime-as-a-Service (CaaS) has emerged as a new frontier for illicit activities, mirroring the convenience and efficiency of cloud services. CaaS enables cybercriminals to access malware rentals, fraud platforms, and other illegal services on demand, often paid for using cryptocurrencies. This model lowers the barrier to entry into cybercrime, making sophisticated tools accessible to anyone willing to pay. SafeHorizon project combats the CaaS threat by providing law enforcement agencies (LEAs), CERTs, and CSIRTs with an innovative toolbox of open-source solutions. These tools utilise machine learning to analyse data from the clear, deep, and dark web, uncovering actionable intelligence to disrupt illegal activities. SafeHorizon's goal is to empower security professionals with easy-to-use tools, enabling the effective detection, monitoring, and prosecution of cybercriminals. SafeHorizon project has received funding from the European Commission under grant agreement No. 101168562.
