Safeplan Uganda is a youth led community-based organization founded in 2012. It aims for creating sustainable jobs for the most vulnerable women and youths of Uganda providing training and support directly on site.
The organization operates for the development of environmental conservation activities and social economical projects, targeting youths and especially young women below the age of 30 years old with livelihood skills and business opportunities to harness their potential.
Safeplan Uganda has been focusing its activities on five main operational areas: Health, Environment, Education, Womens’rights and ICT .
Through the years, the organization has taken its support and management experience from Masindi district to refugee communities in Arua, Yumbe, Moroto, Karamoja region, Kinogozi, Karujubi, Miirya and Budongo Sub counties.
The team directly works on site, developing all projects around five focus areas: Environment, Education, Women rights, Health and ICT.
