SafeSkills – Interreg

SafeSkills is a European project co-funded by Interreg Europe (2025–2029). The project addresses the urgent need for skilled labour in the safety and security sectors, which are increasingly central to regional development, innovation, and resilience strategies in Europe. In a time of growing societal risks, complex crises, and technological shifts, SafeSkills supports regions in improving policy instruments to ensure the availability of skilled professionals in key areas like: Smart secure societies Industrial and environmental safety Cybersecurity Safety-related education, training, and research By fostering interregional learning and cooperation, SafeSkills helps policymakers create effective, forward-looking regional development policies.
