Safe Women Foundation (SWF)

Safe Women Foundation (SWF), an NGO registered as a Society with Government of India under Registration of Societies Act of 1860, was established in the year 2008 with the mission of personal safety of women through organizing and conducting Self Defense Workshops for women employed in corporate sector and College and School Girls and has been doing this community service commendably for the years. The Foundation addresses all personal safety related threats that women face today in urban India, which as we all are aware are plenty, and undertakes such initiatives that will ensure their right knowledge and techniques of self defense, safety tips, learning through real incident sharing and suggestive measures, so that they can acquire confidence to move ahead in life without any fear and play equal role for their own betterment and for the betterment of the society. Many of these workshops have been addressed by top functionaries of the government including the former Chief Minister of Delhi and the Foundation’s work has been greatly appreciated. Founded by Mr. Sunil Nihal Duggal (Chairman, Nihal Group Enterprise Ltd. and 24 Secure) who is also its Vice-Chairperson, oversee’s its day to day operations, the Foundation has Shri Fali Nariman, Eminent Jurist, as its Patron-in-Chief and Smt. Jyotsna Suri, CMD, Lalit Hotels as its Chairperson. Shri Vinod Duggal, Former Union Home Secretary and Governor has recently agreed and become Patron of the Foundation.
