Sagestone's mission is to inspire wellness in healthcare providers and organizations for better patient outcomes. With a broad goal, the company is focusing on individual aspects of the larger picture and identifying the underlying root problems of the industry. The company is currently focused on healthcare provider wellness which is seen as a growing and pervasive epidemic in the industry. This one, but very large problem, is causing many downstream effects throughout the healthcare system including sub-optimal patient outcomes, increased fees, and inconsistent care due to high turnover rates of providers at institutions. Sagestone has created a management approach supported by dynamic software that captures root causes of provider burnout in a short, open-ended questionnaire. With this data, healthcare providers and their managers can cooperatively develop individualized interventions that enhance provider wellness, foster a greater sense of community and, ultimately, improve patient outcomes. Sagestone believes we need to be human about the practice of medicine in an ever increasing computerized world. We take the same approach with our work and at our company.
