Sahaay, Social Innovation Club, IIT Madras

We at Sahaay work on Multi-Disciplinary tech projects to solve pressing social issues. Be it machine learning, app development, machine design or electronics, we take up projects from various backgrounds. Founded in 2012, Sahaay has completed over 40 socially relevant projects over 12 years. In addition to this, we also conduct workshops, NGO and charity collaborations, tech talks, and competitions. We are a team of 60+ people this year, working on five projects and a mini project, including two fully dedicated to differently abled people - Vass.AI and Vision. We have two projects for the welfare of farmers, Agriscape and Pestokart. Blue Resq - a Mobile app for animal welfare - is one of our first ventures into app development. All of the projects have a social cause behind them, and we work towards making the world a better place to live in.
