Sahahastham: Exam Scribe Finder is a pioneering assistive technology venture dedicated to making exams truly inclusive for differently abled examinees. As part of the Youth Co:Lab National Innovation Challenge 2024-2025 Cohort, co-led by NITI Aayog, UNDP India, Atal Innovation Mission, Assistech Foundation and other stakeholders, Sahahastham is recognized for its potential to bridge accessibility gaps in education. The platform envisions a nationwide web-based network of volunteer exam scribes, easing the burden on examinees in finding suitable assistance while ensuring compliance with diverse legal criteria. It also serves as an awareness hub for the rights and concessions available to students with special needs, offering expert guidance from academic professionals and institutions. The initiative has gained significant recognition, emerging as the winner of the IDD National Hackathon in 2023 and a prize winner at the National Conference on Equitable Digital Access by Marian College Autonomous & Mozilla RCC in 2025. Having received support from BIIC, MG University, Kerala Medical Technology Consortium, AssisTech Foundation, and Angel's Village, Sahahastham is committed to leveraging technology and community collaboration to uphold the ‘Right to Write’ and promote inclusive education.
