Sahara Foundation was started in 1999. It has helped more than 4000 people and families.
It was started by Dr. A G Mulla with his wife Mrs. Atika Mulla after the death of their beloved son, who was a specially-abled child, bedridden since birth, a patient of Cerebral palsy. For so many years, they endured the struggle of handling a helpless child & when he was being treated at various places, many more like him were to be found with great financial strains on the family. So then they came with the Sahara Foundation to lend a helping hand to those in need with an aim to ease the suffering and keep the memory of their child alive.
