Based within Emory University's Department of Environmental Sciences and spearheaded by the esteemed interdisciplinary professor and researcher, Dr. Eri Saikawa, the Saikawa Lab is dedicated to pioneering research in various aspects of sustainability.
Our research encompasses a wide array of critical topics including:
- Air Quality: Investigating the impact of air pollution exposure.
- Soil Contamination: Focusing on heavy metal contaminants in Atlanta, notably contributing to the EPA's recognition of the Westside Atlanta Superfund site.
