Sail & Explore Association

The Sail and Explore Association is a unique European non-profit marine conservation organization conducting scientific sailing expeditions on a global scale combining citizen science with strong scientific collaborations. Our research foci include the detection, monitoring, quantification and characterization of micro- and nanoplastics in marine and terrestrial aquatic environments as well as shark and ray research. All the collected data and sample analyses of our expeditions are published in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
