Sailing BAU

SailingBAU, which was founded by Bahçeşehir University students in 2007, has aimed to make university students love the sport of maritime and sailing since its establishment. Each term offers its members basic, advanced and racing sailing training and trains new racers. Apart from the training, it offers opportunities to put the learned knowledge into practice with educational trips. It has around 3000 members since 2007, with an average of 300 members added each year. It has nearly 500 members actively continuing its activities within the club. BAU Sailing Team, which entered all the races it could have, won many trophy (league) championships with the boat named Farr30 model Golden Toy, which was added to its fixture in 2012. In order to realize their dreams, members of our club established the first university-based federated sailing association under the name of BAUISC (Bahçeşehir University International Sailing Club). In this context, BAUISC provides SailingBAU graduates, who have various professions, the opportunity to develop their networks.
