Sakile Properties

Sakile Properties is the property development brand under the @Kenya Power Pension Fund (KPPF). It is the vehicle through which the Kenya Power Pension Fund invests member contributions in the real estate sector. The name Sakile, derived from the Zulu word ‘Sakhile’ which means ‘We have Built’. Property is a critical investment class for the Fund as it provides a hedge against inflation compared to other asset classes. It provides for a surer return in the future, hence our slogan ‘shaping tomorrow’. We own fully occupied commercial buildings like Stima Plaza and Stima Annexe situated along Kolobot Road in Parklands and Umeme Plaza on Naivasha road in Lavington area. Stima Plaza is currently the headquarters of Kenya Power and it also hosts key tenants like banks, clinics and others. To contribute further to shaping our members investments and future, we have also participated in the development of houses for commercial purposes. Notably, Runda Park estate which comprises 39 town houses on ½ acre plots was the pioneer project that was completed in the year 2012.The entire project has been sold to members of the public Our second residential development-Loresho Ridge, located in Loresho started in October 2012 constituting 170 fully sold out units. Our third development, Bogani Park- Karen is a luxurious residential development consisting of 45 units of Four and Five Bedroom Villas each set on individual half acre plots. There are three(3) house types to meet a diverse market. We have recently embarked on our fourth residential development- Kirichwa Place- The Ultimate Experience! This exquisite development consists of spacious 2-and 3-bedroom apartments (all en suite) promising a breathtaking urban lifestyle and competitive returns for investors. Convenience amenities include a borehole, backup generator, perimeter wall with electric fence, intercom, CCTV surveillance, swimming pool, gym, restaurant, shop, and children play area.
