Sakré Design is a brand that was launched in Bodrum by female entrepreneur Zuhal Ozkan. At Sakré Design, Zuhal aims to design, produce and sell home textiles and clothing with design material, namely felt. Felt, as is known, is a kind of fabric produced by compressing pure wool fibers without the use of weaving techniques. It is however one of the Turkish handicrafts that is gradually disappearing. To support this craft coming from the Anatolian heritage, Sakré uses felts that are produced by traditional simple labor-intensive methods in villages not in factories on machines.
