Financing Dreamers Since 1955 Promoted by the Late Dr. N. Mahalingam, it was incorporated as “The Pollachi Credit Society Private Limited” on March 30, 1955 under the Indian Companies Act, 1913. On July 27, 1967, it was born again as a Public Limited Company under a new name. Sakthi Finance Limited. A brand new Certificate of Incorporation was acquired from the Registrar of Companies, Madras. Sakthi Finance Limited issued its first Public issue of equity shares in 1984 and mobilized Rs. 75 lakh. Our Equity shares were listed on BSE, MSE, & Delhi Stock Exchange Limited. Presently, they are listed on BSE. The corporate identification number of our Company is L65910TZ1955PLC000145. Our Company holds a valid Certificate of Registration issued by the RBI dated April 17, 2007 bearing registration no. 07-00252 to manage operations of a NBFC under section 45IA of the RBI Act, 1934 as an asset finance company-deposit taking. Our Company’s business entails hiring, purchasing and financing of Commercial vehicles, machinery etc. with prime focus on Pre-owned Commercial Vehicle financing. Presently, we have a support network of 49 branches, stationed in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Haryana and Union Territory of Puducherry. Mr. M. Manickam is the Chairman while Mr. M. Balasubramanian is the Vice-Chairman cum Managing Director.
