Starting as a small charity in Salford in 1989, we have grown into a dynamic organisation committed to tackling disadvantage and changing lives. Over the past five years alone, we have supported more than 47,200 people, a testament to our dedication to learning, innovation, and adaptability. Despite the progress made, injustice, inequality, and disadvantage continue to hold many individuals back from reaching their full potential. That’s why we remain ambitious and passionate about expanding our impact across Greater Manchester by 2030. Our mission is clear: to help more people overcome barriers and build better futures. We are driven by a deep sense of purpose and a belief in the power of community-led change. Through our key strategy - Best Start in Life, Working Futures and Strong & Safe Communities, we are creating opportunities, fostering resilience and supporting individuals at every stage of life. Our work is grounded in the belief that everyone deserves the chance to thrive, and we are determined to be a catalyst for positive transformation. As we look to the future, our commitment remains unwavering—to stand alongside those facing challenges and to continue making a meaningful, lasting difference in the lives of people across our region.
In 2024/25 we supported 11,350 people across our 25 projects and
469 volunteers provided 4,066 hours of volunteering.
