SALSS at UTD

The Student Association of Lean Six Sigma (SALSS) at The University of Texas at Dallas is a student-led organization founded to provide the academic community of Naveen Jindal School of Management (JSOM) academic advancement, professional development, and networking opportunities in the Lean Six Sigma field. Our Mission SALSS’ mission is to help our members in their professional careers by enhancing their professional qualities and job outlook. Students will learn how to apply, manage, and deploy Lean Six Sigma principles and thinking in their day-to-day activities. We aim to build a positive relationship with students, UT Dallas faculty, and Dallas Fort Worth business professionals in order to promote the growth of Lean Six Sigma practices. Our Goals - Educate members on potential career opportunities and the latest industry trends - Promote the understanding and practices of Lean Six Sigma - Encourage members to seek certification and extended knowledge in Lean Six Sigma - Assist students with higher-level academic and career goals - Provide valuable networking opportunities
