Saltbox has provided a much-loved and valued service for communities across Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire since 1987. Our original founding vision was to provide support and encouragement for local faith groups and help them flourish. Since 2001, however, Saltbox has developed a range of charitable caring initiatives for vulnerable adults. CareLink - Telephone befriending and welfare checks for isolated older people across Stoke-on-Trent (saltbox.org.uk/carelink/) Restart - Housing, employability training and support to help reintegrate those previously labelled 'offender' back into society (saltbox.org.uk/restart/) Money Matters - Practical help with debt relief and benefits advice for users of Stoke-on-Trent Foodbank (saltbox.org.uk/money-matters/) Mission - Christian outreach and support for Church and community groups, promoting unity and city-wide outreach opportunities (saltbox.org.uk/mission/)
