SaltSpace Cooperative

SaltSpace is an artist ran, non-profit Cooperative CIC across three spaces in the East end of Glasgow UK, as part of 'Space for Growth' supported by Glasgow City Properties. We provide a supportive platform for new graduates and early year creatives as a stepping-stone into their artistic career. We have three spaces, each with a dedicated purpose: Gallery Space – 270 High Street - A space for members to exhibit their work and/or have a Salt Gallery Residency in the adjoining beautiful studio space, resulting in solo show in the gallery. Community Space – 98 Saltmarket St. - A space available for hire and an opportunity for both members and non-members to host workshops, talks, events as well as engage with the local community and businesses. Makers Space – 142 Saltmarket St. - Functions as a maker space with 5 studio spaces for an affordable price, as well as a shop front where members can sell their work at a low commission rate.
