LINES was originally created to manage our own Vascular Access Team. The initial goal was to eliminate the need to record procedures on paper, transfer to a spreadsheet, and then try to compile data for quarterly reviews. We felt this was an outdated process, but no options existed to make this possible. We then engineered the app from back to front and created a very effective workflow tool that we use 24/7. With time stamped procedures, all nurse’s productivity can be tracked so that they operate at the most efficient level possible. This tool has proved to be invaluable to us and we feel other facilities can benefit from it as well.
