SaluteSpot is an early e-commerce startup with a mission to improve the quality of life for veterans by offering them steep discounts to local restaurants, gyms, events, and more. With a similar business model to Daily Deal sites, we work hand-in-hand with local businesses to develop deals that can be purchased by verified active duty, reserve and veteran military members on our mobile app as well as our website, www.salutespot.com. In return, our merchant business partners gain access to new clientele and can contribute directly to the quality of life of service members and veterans within their communities. While our primary mission is to help veterans, we’re also a for-profit organization and strive to make our customers completely aware of this. It is very important to us not to exploit the sacrifices of those that have served our country, but rather, offer them top-notch products and services that can improve their lifestyles.
