Salvo is a technology-business incubator. A broad spectrum of organisations can be described as incubators – from University ‘accelerators’, through business support groups, government sponsored economic development groups – and a precious, few groups that create true innovation and have a track record in delivering real, high growth businesses. Some accelerators focus on mobile and apps, some on data, some very few on hardware – Salvo is exceptional in that we are versed in all necessary tools to deliver viable businesses that sit comfortably in the hardware-data-infrastructure space. Ideas are cheap. Salvo has massive deal flow in exceptional opportunities, but a vast majority don’t survive our review and testing process. Those that we evaluate have to show feasibility (can it be done), marketability (should it be done), and investability (does the money agree).
