We are very excited to announce the opening of our first S.A.M Learning Centre located at 6525 Boul. Décarie, suite 302. S.A.M (Seriously Addictive Mathematics) is an after-school/weekend enrichment program that teaches mathematics to children ages 4 – 13, in a caring and small-classroom environment. The uniqueness of this program is that we teach math using the Singapore Method. All reputable education studies rate Singapore Math as the best mathematics program in the world. Singapore students in all grades rank at the highest levels when compared to their peers globally. Math is problem solving; S.A.M teaches problem solving techniques starting at a very young age. We utilize a hands-on approach to learning math by relating it to everyday, practical situations. Singapore Math encourages your child to use logical reasoning and critical thinking in mathematics, while steering away from memorization and repetitiveness. This program is for parents who want to improve their child’s ability in mathematics; whether the child is already exceptional in math, average or below average, this program will be beneficial.
