SAMA CARE (S7) LTD

Two (2) factors motivated the Founder to start up SAMA CARE (S7). First was when his dad, was diagnosed with a terminal illness requiring palliative home care assistance. The difficulty to contract a professional home care assistant because of their unavailability posed a great challenge for the founder and his family. Secondly, his niece was burnt in hot water by her untrained caregiver when both parents of the child were at work. When this happened, the founder was concerned about the safety of caregivers and children as this is a shared challenge of other households in his community. SAMA CARE (S7) is therefore humanitarian social enterprise, ensuring the welfare, productivity and self-actualization of all. It strives to achieve these vision by operating 5 projects or departments, namely: 1) S7 CARE: This project uses a physical and digital platform to enhance primary health care, valorize care work and dignify care workers. 2) S7 ACADEMY: This project invest in resources like schools and empowerment programs to enhance the productivity and self-actualization of all. 3) S7 RESOURCE: This project collects, produces, safe-guards, transfers knowledge and skills to the general public as well as carry our mentorship programs. 4) S7 ENTERPRISE: This project executes private and public contracts using cost effective and environmentally friendly and sustainable materials. 5) S7 FOUNDATION: This project enhances the welfare and livelihood of the vulnerable through the internal and external mobilization of resources.
