Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering & Research (SAMEER) is a Research & Development Institute under the administrative control of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology,Government of India. Its main objective is to promote the growth of Science and Technology in the field of RF/Microwave Electronics, Electromagnetics, OptoElectronics, millimeter wave Technology and its allied areas. SAMEER has its headquarters at Mumbai and centres at Chennai, Kolkata, Navi Mumbai and Visakhapatnam.
Centre for Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) under SAMEER, located in Visakhapatnam, has been started in 2014 with specialized E3 test facilities as per MIL STD 461E/F,464 and MIL STD 188-125-1&2.
SAMEER Centre for E3 has been pursuing its objective of doing Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation. The E3 facility specializes in a variety of capabilities, ranging from box level to complete system level testing.
