SAMIRA2 is a shunting assistance system for the last mile. It uses advanced sensor technology in a portable sensor module (SAMIRAmobil) mounted on the last wagon of a shunting section, enabling the locomotive driver to shunt without a shunting attendant. The locomotive driver can also activate the integrated horn and lights at the end of the train via the SAMIRA system.
