SAMVAD is a non-governmental, not-for-profit organization committed to improve mental health across the globe by empowering existing resources to provide psychological support. The primary focus areas include counseling, research, and awareness on mental health problems. We aim to build a public health model to increase the coverage of basic interventions for mental health. The major barriers to accessing mental healthcare include stigma, high cost of treatment, lack of awareness, not much existing research regarding therapies. We want to bridge this gap and create a community for mental health about mental health and by people passionate about mental health.
