San Francisco Coffee

Dating back nearly 500 years, Franciscan monks were among the first to arrive in what is today known as Bolivia. They laid the foundation for the San Francisco de Asis Cathedral. At this site the city to be known as "Our Lady of Peace" (Nuestra Senora de La Paz) was born. Found high in the Andes mountains, at 3000 meters above sea level, La Paz is the highest capital in the world today. In keeping with the tradition of peace San Francisco Coffee serves as a bridge between cultures and provides the best that Bolivia has to offer too the world. We work directly with cooperative coffee producers to obtain the finest coffee beans available. We keep with the spirit of Fair Trade by offering the best price to these cooperative communities. We do this to help them develop long term sustainable methods to improve their communities while maintaining their rich cultural heritage.
