WHAT ARE THE EFFECTS OF MENSTRUAL POVERTY?
Worldwide, 500 million women have no access to hygienic menstrual products. The effects of menstrual poverty affect physical and mental health as well as productivity in the workplace. Many girls who suffer from menstrual poverty improvise with old newspaper, old blankets, chicken feathers or mud.
Due to negative experiences at school, some girls even drop out of school and have difficulties entering the labor market.

For this reason, we want to promote education about menstrual health. To do this, we work with schools and orphanages or similar institutions.
