Sanctuary Systems

Sanctuary Systems is a student-created company dedicated to solving the societal problem of lack of campus safety across college and university campuses in the United States. Sanctuary Systems is currently producing Sentinel, our first multi-platform mobile application. Sentinel is a modular mobile app connecting college campus residents directly to notifications in the event of an emergency. Sentinel also allows users to contact campus security or emergency services in many low connectivity scenarios. Sentinel offers features that deliver clear, concise information useful to those in emergencies, such as directions to secure locations. Our product can be downloaded by students, faculty and staff alike to ensure that any involved in emergency situations can end up safe and secure. Colleges and universities can customize the app based on various campus-specific factors such as layout, departments and other details.
