Sanfran Inc was the 3rd largest producer of surgical sutures in India . The company was started in Neelsandra, Bangalore - India in the year 1990 by its founder and CEO – Shaikh Sadiq Ali . In the year 1992, the company moved from Neelsandra and laid a strong foundation in Peenya, Bangalore- India for 25years. In 2015 Sanfran Inc upgraded to its new plant with automated techniques and machineries. The founder was a supplier of Sheep Casings and the idea of Sutures was introduced from the very own Sheep Casings. The organization started with ten employees at work. The company used to produce absorbable “ Chromic Catgut ” Suture with a capacity of 1 lakh Sutures every month when it started. In the year 1998, Sanfran Inc launched a new absorbable Suture – “ Plain Catgut ” . The manufacturing facilities conform to ISO 9001/2008(DNV) standards. At present the company employs over 50 personnel with a capacity of producing 4 – 5 lakhs of Sutures every month and supplies its products to reputed companies locally and have also exported its product to Germany and Russia.
