A Legacy of Empowerment: 24 Years of Building Social and Economic Justice, Equality, and Dignity. Established in 1999, registered in 2001, Sangama is deeply rooted in the foundational values of the Indian Constitution: social and economic justice, liberty, equality, and dignity. Over the years, our commitment to community participation and ownership has shaped Sangama into one of Karnataka's respected, transparent, and accountable civil society organizations. Our diverse programs focus on Strengthening Communities, Social Security, Health and Wellbeing, Livelihoods, and Education. These initiatives specifically target Economically Disadvantaged and Vulnerable Communities: Gender and Sexual Minorities, Sex Workers, and urban poor in Karnataka. Sangama's programs are driven by the needs and aspirations of the communities it works with, fostering sustainable development and long-term impact.
