Sangapesh is an impact-driven enterprise that is on a mission to empower Made-in-Rwanda producers to grow their businesses. Our platform eliminates middlemen that normally add extra costs and we aim to create a transparent gateway for customers to directly buy at a producer's price.
Sangapesh idea came in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic, when the only option to access most of the product was to use online channels. This was the most difficult time for Made-in-Rwanda producers to get their products to customers and as a result, most businesses had to close. Through this, we identified a need to create a trusted and convenient digital marketplace, especially for Made-in-Rwanda producers to connect with the market and sell their products easily. As the government of Rwanda puts more effort into the promotion of Made-in-Rwanda products, we believe it is the right time for Sangapesh to use its passion, and expertise to provide an entrepreneurial solution in the promotion of Made-in-Rwanda products.
