Established in 1996, Sangath was a brain child of its seven founding members, who voluntarily started Goa’s first multi-disciplinary child development clinic Porvorim, North Goa. What began as a Child development clinic, Sangath has evolved into one of the most premier Mental Health Research Organizations in India, championing 'Global Mental Health' at global level through excellent ethical Research, design & evaluate cost-effective, scalable, community-focused, evidence-based solutions for low-resourced contexts in India & beyond.
