J. Sangster & Son was formed as a small family business in 1972 by James (Bobo) and Jimmy Sangster. Over the following years the family connection grew when Jimmy’s brother Alan and later his sons Peter, Alan & David also joined the team. Originally undertaking small household and maintenance works to local farms the company has grown and diversified over the years to its current position where contracts of almost any size in any location are being considered. The company changed it’s status from a partnership to a limited company in 2002 where Sangster Electrical Limited was formed. Jimmy Sangster still maintains his role as Managing Director of the company but it is predominantly run by his sons Peter & Alan who co-ordinate the day to day activities with the technical support of Alan Snr
