Sanhe Foundry, formerly a subsidiary company of China FAW Group, was established in 1968 and reconstructed in 2004. The Foundry, covering an area of 56,000 square meters, has totally 230 employees, 10 of which are experienced experts. Its annual production capacity is 20,000 tons. It is equipped with static pressure modeling line (flask size: 1300×800×320/320), hot-box core shooter, 120T/h sand preparation line, 10 T electric furnace, sand humidity/strength testing machines, spectrometer, metalloscope, tension testing machine and durometer.
In the early years, Sanhe Foundry mainly produced grey iron castings. Sanhe Foundry has started the R&D of ductile iron castings since 1976, and developed 3-High™ (high tension, high yield, high elongation) as-cast ferrite ductile iron in 1993. Since 2008, Sanhe Foundry has cooperated with Austemper Component (Suzhou) Manufacture.Inc that introduced austempering process and equipment from Applied Process Co. Ltd in the U.S, and in 2010, successfully produced the Austempered Ductile Iron (ADI) that complies with ASTM 897/897A-06. Since then, Sanhe Foundry has developed to be a world-class ADI products supplier for customers across the world.
In 2007, Sanhe Foundry passed the ISO/TS16949 certification. We have produced balanced suspension bracket for China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Co. Ltd (CNHTC), leaf spring carriers for China FAW Group Qingdao Automotive Factory, rear axle housings, reducer housings, differential housings and cylindrical gear housings for Shanxi Auto, Liuzhou Auto, Beijing Auto Foton, as well as differential housings, steering knuckles, traction wheels for Germany SAF Axle, Italia Carraro, and Axle Tech and Loegering in the U.S.
