Sankalpa | "Together for Inclusion and Independence of Children with Disabilities"
Established in 2007 in Davangere, Karnataka, Sankalpa has been working towards supporting children with developmental disabilities from marginalized communities. Over the years, we have reached 2,500+ children and their families, driving rural development and inclusive education.
Vision: To ensure that every child with developmental disabilities leads an independent, quality life and plays a valued role in an inclusive society.
Mission: To run structured early intervention and special education programs that enable children with disabilities to thrive.
Our Work:
Currently supporting 200+ children with disabilities (CWDs) and their families, Sankalpa collaborates with government bodies, NGOs, DPOs, ASHA, and Anganwadi workers to create sustainable change through:

✅ Awareness on health, hygiene, and rights
✅ Mobility aids, appliances, and pension access
✅ Social security & rehabilitation services
✅ UDID facilitation & self-employment awareness
✅ Community sensitization and family support
