Sankara College of Science and Commerce (Autonomous)

Sankara College of Science and Commerce established in the year 1991. The college is autonomous, co-educational, affiliated to the Bharathiar University, Coimbatore and MBA Programme is approved by AICTE, New Delhi. Also, it is recognized under 2(f) and 12(B) of UGC act 1956 by University Grants Commission, New Delhi. The college is Re-accredited by NAAC with “A+” Grade – CPGA of 3.33 in the second cycle, Sep 2022. At present the college offers 09 UG, 03 PG and 05 Research (M.Phil. and Ph.D.) Programmes, under major and allied departments. The college has established MOE’s Institution Innovation Council (IIC) in the year 2018 to promote the innovation and undergraduate research among students. The college has various clubs and committees to enhance the exposure of the students talents and to guide them for their career. The college has an exclusive Training and Placement Cell to give them career and life skills training on various modules to face the competitive world and make them employable.
